Hi and welcome to my blog.

My name is Ashley. I’m a 28 year old student, studying Biomedical Science at University, a single parent to a 5 year old boy, and now a blogger!

After suffering for the past five years with symptoms of Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome and Hypothyroidism, I decided I need to do everything I can to improve my health, fitness and overall life style. I believe reducing stress alone will dramatically improve my health, this includes healthy eating, exercising, relaxation techniques, hobbies and organisation.

I hope you will all enjoy following my journey to a new healthier and happier me, and my story can help inspire others to change too.

My Sassy Food Plan Experiment

Hi everyone, welcome to my sassy food experiment.

Like most people I have tried numerous diets over the years, and failed at them all! I can not stand when I open a diet book, and it says you can not eat pasta, fruit or what ever food the given diet has decided you can’t eat. Just so  you temporarily lose weight, it makes me want that food type even more. (rebellious side comes out lol)

I suffer from Poly Cystic Ovary Syndrome and Hypothyroidism, which has contributed to my weight gain over the past four years.

This experiment is about looking at all the attributes that contribute to my weight gain and relationship with food. I have been researching what the body needs in order to function and how I can ensure I supply my body with everything it needs on a daily basis, without over indulging in naughty treats or missing certain food groups, causing my body more harm and if I can lose weight at a healthy rate and keep it off.

So if you are interested in following my experiment, and sharing any knowledge you might have then please sign up to my newsletter and follow me on social media sites linked below.

Thanks xxx
